I’m going to tell you a story

It’s been with me my whole life.

But I had never connected the dots. Until I read a book. Written by someone I don’t know. And who doesn’t know me.
But I’m pretty sure he understands me.
It’s going to take a number of posts to tell this story.
I’m going to have to go back and forth. Sometimes way back.
I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
I hope you figure it out before I finish.
I’ll give you lots of hints.
The first, and most important part of the story, is to start.
