Grandpa Time!
There’s something magical about the song played by the Ice Cream truck. “Can we, Grandpa, can we?” Saying “yes” is guaranteed to produce a reaction like the Red Sox celebrating a World Series win! Eyes get big as silver dollars looking at the menu. Which one, which one? Sponge Bob, Dora, Spider-Man, the atomic rocket?? Oh, the pathos involved in the decision. No wonder I love Summer. Baseball and Ice Cream are just the best. And they’re even better when there’s grandkids involved.
Speaking of Baseball, did I mention we went to Fenway?
- Cead Mille Failte
- Sponge Bob and Dora pops!
- I think he likes it!
- Rylie definitely likes it!
- Great seats (checkout the Red Sox visor on Katie!)
- Cask N’Flagon on the corner of Landsdowne and Yawkey Way
- Great seats. (Oh, and they were good for watching the game, too.)
- “Monstah” seats. (Only for the tour though)
- Batting helmet Ice Cream cups! That’s my boy!

Hey grandpa! Ya, I wore the hat just for you
But that was a rare occurance. GO RAYS! hee hee
Hi again grandpa!!
Looking through these pictures always makes my day better! Right now, I’m typing up an essay for my chorus class on the differences of fame and success. I’m quite impressed with myself, I must say! I’m thinking those genetics are helping me out here! What about you?? Maybe someday, I can follow your footsteps. Who knows? Maybe I can be the next Mike Reardon at the Disney Institute
I would love to hear your take on the differences of fame and success!
After you turn it in, maybe that can be your first “guest blogger” post?
Feel free to followmy footsteps or to blaze your own trail! I know I’ll be proud of you whatever you do!
Of course I’ll post it
I’ll finish it for ya!! (and for the grade of course)
